"nothing"

after a shit day i had a shit drive home and was 15 minutes late picking up lil from choir. then i find out she lost her brand new columbia snow pants. she doesn't know what happened they were just gone. she thinks someone stole them. this is a possibility but i'm hoping it's not the case. so we race back to eagan for gs. the girls are very hyper and i am in no mood to deal with them. we had to earn a try-it (for those that don't know this is the patch they earn) in an hour and a half. it would have been fine except that lisa was being very long winded and the girls didn't want to sit and listen. the try-it was careers and one of the requirements was to research some women pioneers. she did a great job of finding information but it was way too much info and like i said the girls didn't want to sit there anymore. so they were crawling under the table, throwing things, making loud noises and i was not going to let this happen. i had to scold them several times. and i was not nice about it either. i will say my daughter did not act up she knows when mom is not happy. sidebar: she was supposed to write jobs down that she would like to do and she said "be a red crosser and a gs leader." also one of the pioneers was clara barton and i told the girls who she was and lillian tells about the red cross and that they take blood. i thought it was cute that she wants to be me. needless to say by the end of the meeting i was ready to go home. i'm thinking about how nice it will be to get home and read a little and go to bed after a shit day and all. oh this was not the case. i walk in and it seems the kitchen has exploded. there is stuff everywhere and michael is still awake. i wanted to scream instead i started cleaning and slamming doors and throwing things. yes i was having a tantrum. mark comes upstairs and asks what the problem is. i was thinking to myself "what! you are asking what the problem is? you can't tell by looking around?" i did not say any of those things because by that point i couldn't fight i couldn't think, i couldn't form words that i wouldn't regret. so i said "nothing" my coined phrase when everything is wrong. i made him read to lil and i did the dishes and cleaned up. i did get to read and watch a little tv to wind down but in the end mark was the one that fixed my problems for that shit day. and that's where i stop.
