i want to be 5

this weekend our relatives from moorhead came to visit. we have a great time when we're together. the only thing missing was my husband. he works thursday - sunday noon to 10 so that he can stay home with the kids during the week. it works out great until there are family functions and he wants to be at. he was really bummed. not only did he miss that but lillian had a choir concert today (she was amazing) and he was so upset that he couldn't be there. he thought he would be able to extend his lunch break but the other guy called in sick. he needs to find a new job. we need to make more money so we can afford to send the kids to daycare. that sounds really bad but you don't know how hard it is to juggle this type of schedule until you've done it. maybe it will change next year. oh at the concert the facilitator was asking some of the kids what they wanted to be when they grew up. he picked a little boy who wanted to be a snake hunter, a girl who wanted to be a cowgirl and then he choose evan. evan said when he grows up he wanted to be 5. it was very funny. and there was this other little boy that was mooning us. it was interesting to say the least.
on the up side i only have 3 more gifts to buy for christmas. woohoo! today i went to macy's and got my husband some cologne(polo explorer). i really like it but i wasn't going to buy it. i was going to smell and walk away but the sales person wouldn't let me say no. she kept at until i caved. i spent $74 on him. we were only supposed to spend $20. i know he's going to be irritated that i spent so much on something he could live without but like i said the woman was relentless and i couldn't get away from her. i will probably return it tomorrow but it was a nice gift while it lasted.
