something new

hooray for me, hooray for me!!!!!
today i learned something new. i learned how to crochet. thanks to kathy m. i am on my way to making hats, blankets, scarves well you get the picture. i'm very excited. yes michelle you did get me thinking that i should do it so thanks. my co-workers and i decided today was the day for our first lesson. it was only 15 minutes so i don't know a lot but i know how to start and make a chain. so i've been working on that a little tonight.
i also am working on cleaning out my laundry room. it seems to have taken itself over. my husband likes to take the clothes out of the dryer and throw them in a heap. i can't stand it! i am hoping that if i clean it up he will have an incentive to keep it that way. i went in there tonight to find a pair of tights and ended up sorting and trying to figure out where all these clothes came from. they are mostly kids clothes and things we don't wear very often therefore they sit down in the basement until someone is searching franticly for a particular pair of tights.
so instead of practicing crocheting, like i really want to do i am blogging and then cleaning my laundry room. and yes i can do both. i take a break every once and a while and sit down to continue my thoughts.
my husband is addicted to WOW. the most hated thing in our house is this computer game. he claims he only plays a couple of hours a day but i know he plays more than that. so tonight i changed the settings on the game so he can't play whenever he wants to. he told me a while back to set the parental controls to whatever i wanted to so tonight i did. there is a chance he will be able to figure out the password or he can request to have to sent to his email but i changed the password on that too. so we'll see if he figures it out and i will know if he is trying to break the code because he will probably randomly ask me for the email password. let's hope it doesn't happen.
